A few things you might be wondering.
Why do I sign in with X?
Your X account is your TakeTheX account, so there's no password to remember. It lets TakeTheX learn from your posts and post the drafts you approve. We use X's official sign-in and never see your X password.
Does it post without asking me?
No. Every post needs your approval. Post it with one tap, or queue it and it goes out on X at its time. You can turn automatic posting off in Settings and post queued drafts yourself.
Will the drafts actually sound like me?
TakeTheX reads your public posts to understand your topics and writing style. It also learns from the edits you make to drafts. You can describe your voice and provide sample posts yourself.
Do I need an API key?
No. AI is included in your plan, and you don't need an OpenAI or X API account. Sign in with X, choose a plan and your first drafts are ready in a minute.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Open TakeTheX in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen; it opens like an app and can notify you when drafts are ready and posts go out. The app shows you how in a few taps.
Which languages are supported?
Posts can be written in English, Turkish, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic. The interface is available in English and Turkish.
Do long posts need X Premium?
Yes, for posts over 280 characters. If you don't have Premium, choose the short post length.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the Plan page whenever you like. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for, and you can ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment.
